Kairos Prison Ministry

Kairos Prison Ministry presents a 3 day weekend course, described as a short course in Christianity, to men inside the Ironwood State Prison, near Blythe California.  The inter-denominational team of volunteers - both clergy and laypersons - become the face of Christ to up to 42 inmate leaders attending the retreat.  A well organized follow up program is also a part of this ministry.  The Kairos Retreats is held every 6 months at the prison.  There are also monthly Kairos Reunions.  If you are interested in participating please contact the church office.

Someday most of these men will leave prison.  Isn't it better they saw the face of Christ before they leave?  Kairos Outside programs also assist families of the inmates.

N A M I

The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill is a support group for families who have a Mentally Ill loved one.  They meet the first and third Monday of every month in the Hope Center.  Please contact the church office for more information.
